Romanian Folk Icons inspired.
Folk Icons in Romanian tradition are usually painted on glass or on wood. When on glass, first, the outlines are drawn in black ink. Then each area is filled with tempera or oil colors. This has been a Romanian folk tradition since a long time ago. In the villages, the knowledge is passed from generation to generation, from parents to children. These icons are primitive, colorful, glamorous and very modern as a plastic conception.
